Last weekend, the All-Star Weekend was played in the NBA in America. In the annual weekend, the best players from the league play a friendly match. In addition, several challenges are organized. There will be a 3-point shooting contest as well as a Slam Dunk contest to see who are the best high flyers of the NBA. When it comes to sneakers, you can always expect something special during this weekend. We are not disappointed this year!
The best player in the league: LeBron James received a first pair of the Nike Air Force 1 x Off-White “University Gold” from Nike and Virgil Abloh. There have been rumors about the shoes for some time, but now we really get to see them for the first time. Virgil, the founder of Off-White, has scribbled some extra slogans on the shoe with a waterproof marker. Just keep in mind that this shoe will hardly be available and will yield a lot in the resell value. The kicks should appear in July.
Nike has dropped another new iteration of the Air Force 1 Shadow that would’ve been perfect for Easter Sunday.
Dressed in a Summit White, Glacier Blue, Fossil, and Ghost color scheme. This Nike Air Force 1 Shadow sports a White leather base covered in pastel accents throughout. A solid White rubber sole completes the design.

By dint of seeing Swoosh-stamped Nike Air Force 1 sneakers on the feet of streetwear fashion enthusiasts, we almost forget that Nike remains above all a sports brand that continues to equip many athletes as well as amateur and professional level teams. Among these is the Nigeria national football team for which the Beaverton firm has been designing official kits since 2018. Thanks to these kits, and more particularly the jerseys worn by the Super Eagles during their matches, the Nigerian selection has seen its aura grow, not only on the African continent but also in the rest of the world where football fans have appropriated its colors. It must be said that these famous swimsuits are really attractive, thanks in particular to their traditional patterns shaped in a modern spirit. Building on their success, the designers of the American giant drew inspiration from these patterns to create a collection of sneakers called “Naija”, in reference to the term used to refer to the Nigerian people as a whole. Of all these sneakers, the most successful is undoubtedly the Air Force 1 that Nike offers us in a React version scheduled for release on September 28.
A brand new Air Force 1 inspired by the Nigeria football jersey.
At a time when all sneakers addicts have their eyes riveted on the Nike SB Dunk which will be released in the coming days in an unprecedented iteration signed by Virgil Abloh and his Off-White label, the American equipment manufacturer has seen fit to give a little attention to an Air Force 1 a little less in the spotlight than usual. After a colorful collaboration with Berlin artist Ruohan Wang, whom you can discover or rediscover here, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic shoe resurfaces in an imprint that has been talked about a lot since it leaked on social media. From the ‘’ Naija ’’ pack, the pair is presented in an aesthetic specific to React models with a reworked finish in leather, textile and synthetic fiber in the colors of the Nigerian football team. There are therefore several shades of green, starting with “Pine Green” and “Green Strike”, which skillfully coexist with touches of black applied to the quarter panel, the midsole and the laces. The visual details that adorn the Nigeria jersey are evidently present on the toe box, upper eyelets and heel. Finally, note that an appropriate “Naija” branding has been grafted onto the top of the tongue of the laces and the inside of the left foot.
